This workshop is in continuation with Innovation to elevate series, this is the second cohort of already concluded session as the following: 

1. Introduction to Creative Problem Solving

  • What is Creative Problem Solving?Understanding the fundamentals and significance. 
  • Why is it Important?Exploring the impact of creative problem-solving in innovation. 
  • Types of ProblemsIdentifying and categorizing different types of problems. 
  • Exercise: Identify cases for group work.

2. Problem Discovery

  • Identifying ProblemsTechniques to recognize and define problems. 
  • Framing Problem StatementsArticulating and refining problem statements. 
  • Exercise: Group activity to articulate and refine problem statements.

Week 2 : 3rd August 2024

3. Creative Ideation Methods

  • Defining System ParametersSetting the stage for creative thinking. 
  • Divergent ThinkingExploring both "thinking outside the box" and "thinking inside the box." 
  • Convergent ThinkingSelecting the most suitable ideas for further development. 
  • Exercise: Introduction to frameworks and application to generate ideas.

4. Enhancing Creativity

  • Sources of IdeasIdentifying where great ideas come from. 
  • Creativity DriversFactors that enhance creative thinking. 
  • Polishing Your CreativityTechniques for refining and presenting ideas. 
  • Exercise: Group work to fine-tune and polish ideas.

Week 3 : 10th August 2024

5. Proof of Principle to Proof of Concept

  • Proof of PrincipleEstablishing initial feasibility. 
  • Proof of ConceptDeveloping and testing prototypes. 
  • Exercise: Group activity to design an effective PoC.

6. Establishing Problem-Solution Fit

  • Defining Problem-Solution FitAssessing if the solution effectively addresses the problem. 
  • Feasibility AssessmentEvaluating practical viability. 
  • Exercise: Group activity to evaluate problem-solution fit and summarize learnings.
  • Next StepsGuidance on actions after achieving problem-solution fit.
